Our Lavinia, stylishly simple, timelessly elegant, and so squishy you will feel like you’re floating. Lavinia is perfect for any family home. Our Lavinia looks good in any room, but that can make it tricky to decide what styling route to take. So, to make it easier, here’s how we styled Lavinia for a fresh, summer-ready look. The Sofas For this room, we used a large Lavinia Sofa and a medium. This is the perfect amount to seat at least 5 people on the Sofas comfortably. For the medium Sofa, we opted for Loose Covers in our Harmony Ochre Fabric. Harmony Ochre is rich, with golden undertones, perfect for emulating the summer sunshine. For our large Lavinia Sofa, we opted for Loose Covers in our Harmony Barley Fabric. Harmony Barley is a creamy off white that is sure to brighten up any room. Our Harmony Fabrics aren’t just lookers, they are composed of Chenille Yarn so they are splendidly soft! The Armchair Armchairs aren’t only a cosy, convenient extra seat, they can also be a styling focal point. For this look we opted for a Lavinia Armchair in our Bloom Primrose Fabric. Our Bloom Primrose Fabric is dainty, sweet and oh so cute! The Fabric colours tie in perfectly with the Harmony Ochre Sofa, and the white detailing of the Fabric’s flowers match well with Harmony Barley. Plus, the yellow tones of Bloom Primrose are adorably sunny, ideal for the season! The Scatters Scatters are a small accent, but they make a hell of a difference. To add a pop of colour against our Harmony Barley Lavinia, we opted for some Botany Phoenix Scatters. The bright orange and deep purple tones pack a powerful punch. For the Armchair, we wanted to add a Scatter Cushion that pulls the room together even more, so we opted for a Harmony Barley Scatter, to match the Sofa. The Footstool There’s nothing better than coming home after a long day, sinking into your squishy Sofa, and popping your feet up. That’s why we believe that a footstool is a necessity for any room. To continue with the sunny theme of the room, we opted for our Small Round Footstool, in our beautiful Breeze Buttercup Fabric. The Table Every Living Room needs a table. Where else are you going to chuck the clutter when it’s time to hoover? We wanted a table for this room that makes a statement, but still keeps the room open and airy for summertime. A glass table was the answer, and we opted for one with gold coloured accents to tie in the warm, yellow theme of the room. This one from Miller and Mason is ideal. The Rug For the rug, we wanted something stylish but simple, as not to run the risk of the room being too busy. This Jute rug from Dunelm ended up being perfect. It’s timeless, earthy and classic and looks great for summer. Its woven texture adds depth to the room, without making an unwanted statement. The Plants You can never go wrong with plants, especially in the summertime. Plants are a welcome addition to any family home as they help to filter out any nasties in the air and improve the overall air quality. They also add a pop of gorgeous green, and leafy green goes with everything. For this room, we opted for a small snake plant on the table and a large twisted umbrella plant near the window.
