Today, we are kicking off our summer styling tips with a Peaches and Cream-themed room! After all, today is National Peaches and Cream Day, and it’s the perfect bright yet airy colour palette for the sunny (we hope) upcoming months. If you’re a fan of oranges and pinks, pastels that pack a punch and cooling neutrals, you’re in the right place. Let’s start with the focal point of the room, the Sofa! For this look, we’ve gone with our marvellous Miller. Miller has a relaxed sort of charm, whilst still being classically gorgeous, this chilled-out vibe is perfect for summer! For the Fabric, we have gone for our creamiest Fabric, Breeze Birch. To finish off the Sofa, some Collins & Hayes Scatter Cushions are a must. Now that we have the cream of the Sofa, it’s time to incorporate some peach. Our Scatters in Breeze Fall are perfectly peachy and go great with a Breeze Birch Sofa. For a peaches and cream look, we are obsessed with this wallpaper from World of Wallpapers. The colour is a perfect peachy pink to complement the rest of the peach tones in the room. The motif features sprigs of berries amongst leafy plants twisting together, ideal for the upcoming summer months! A cosy throw is vital for those cosy summer nights snuggled on the Sofa, after soaking up the sun in the garden. This throw from Next is our pick. It’s fleece-y yet not too heavy, which is just what you need in the summer evenings. Its slightly off white tones match the creamy Breeze Fall Sofa perfectly. The checkerboard pattern adds some texture and acts as a fun, stylish accent. It’s always handy to have a side table, whether it’s for storing your remotes on, popping your glass of wine whilst you are watching your favourite show or purely for decoration. Its pink petals and luscious green leaves make it the perfect summer plant. And, paired with the cream bubble pot, it matches the cream accents in the room perfectly. Finally, the rug. It’s easy to overlook rugs when it comes to interior styling, but they make a big difference! There’s also nothing better than having a soft floor to sink your feet into, especially during the summer when you’ve been outside all day. This one from Dunelm is great for this room.
