The days are getting longer, and the flowers are starting to bloom, we are very excited to see the first signs of Spring.

The changing of the seasons is a great time to change up your interiors. Out with the snuggly cushions and throws, that were are best friends in the Winter months, and in with fresh colours, and brighter tones, to symbolise new beginnings.

We have curated our favourite Spring trends for 2021, with some handy hints and tips on how you can create this look at home.

Eco Conscious

With the world shifting its focus on how we can be kinder to our planet, there is a big drive towards using more sustainable and eco friendly products in our homes. This trend comes as no surprise to us, if 2020 has taught us anything, it is to appreciate the smaller things in life, as they can make a big difference.

With this trend, we are seeing some old and new materials resurface, our favourite one being Cork. Cork has long been a feature of sustainable decor, but in 2021, its having its moment! This highly sustainable material can be used on everything, from walls, furniture to accessories, and is highly versatile, allowing you to make your space feel rustic, or retro.

Earth Tones

With one of 2021s biggest trends being eco-friendly decor, we can expect this to trickle down into our colour palettes, too. This Spring we see the return of Earthy tones into our colour palettes. We see calming colours in earth shades, that help bring us back to nature, and Sage Greens, burnt Orange, and inky Blue tones, that help create the feeling of a little natural sanctuary in your home. After a long day at work, these colours will help you to relax and unwind – just what we all need!

Flexible Space

With many people working from home at the moment, it is important to have a flexible space. Try and keep your work and living space separate, so that at the end of a busy day, you can walk away from your desk, and relax in a calm, comfortable space. If you have room for a desk, decorate your desk with your favourite photographs, coasters and any other personal touches, to make it feel like a happy and inviting space.
