‘There’s no place like home’… and we could not agree more! Creating a warm, comforting environment is an important step in making your house feel like a home. We have put together a simple guide on how to create your safe haven.
Working From Home
A lot more of us are now working from home, try and allocate an area of your home just for work to help keep your work and home life separate. Eliminating distractions from your work area such as piles of washing or stacks of plates will help you concentrate during the day. Also, by taking your work out of areas you like to relax in, such as the living room or bedroom will enable your mind switch off at the end of the day.

However, your workspace does not have to be boring, decorate it with house plants, candles or your favourite prints. This will make the area more inviting and personal to you.
Entertaining at Home
Spending time with friends and family is precious, whether it’s for someone’s birthday or just a spur of the moment get together. If you have an accent colour or theme running through a room, accentuate that when you have a gathering, if you have an art deco themed room, choose wine glasses and tableware that matches.
